A.A. Pranatadjaja, or Tonny as he is usually called, has held various positions at PT Unilever Indonesia Tbk for 34 years where he was in charge of manufacturing, personnel ,external relations and CSR and several overseas assignments. He was part of the Board of Directors’ team for ten years and has successfully implemented the HR Development Program and Reengineering & Change (Organizational Effectiveness) Management in his role as Personnel Director prior to his subsequent function in building the Corporate Relations division which covers Communications, Corporate Affairs, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Crisis Management. At that time, he came to be recognized for the successful implementation of Reputation Risk Management and several community development programs, all of which were based on his experience in external relations and CSR. and has received and awarded for his efforts in the sustainable development for small medium enterprises in the World Association of SME Global meeting in Gibraltar sponsored by UNCTAD, UN 2002.
He retired from the board of directors of PT Unilever Indonesia TBK in 2003 and was appointed as its Corporate Relations advisor, a position until the present. He was also President of the ASEAN Cosmetic Association for five years and President of the Indonesian Cosmetics Companies Association for ten years.
He is now as director of PT Protocol One and also as independent commissioner in several companies in Triputra group and Board member of British Chamber and members of the Advisory Boards in the Castle Asia- Indonesian Country Program ; Yayasan Kehati ( Indonesian Biodiversity Foundation) ; Perkosmi (Association of Cosmetics Companies ); Beachhead New Zealand Advisor for South East Asia ; Board of Trustee of Indonesian School of Business and Management of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB).
